Ms. Stacy Flowers has been chosen as the Partnership’s Director of Community Economic Development. She will head up the Partnership’s team in implementing our three year Office of Community Services (OCS) grant,
National Community Economic Development Exemplary Practices Initiative. Stacy has over 15 years experience in the private sector, holding senior-level positions in marketing, financial management and project direction for companies such as Schlumberger, Inc and Neptune Technology Group, Inc. (a division of Roper, Inc). She led training, provided project support, and directed projects for energy/utility systems in North America. Of note, she has experience training Total Quality Management (TQM), ISO 9001 and Best Practices. Recently, she worked Spurlock Companies, a 24-company conglomerate with business ranging from recycling, property development and retail services. As a direct responsibility of the position for Spurlock, she directed start-up operations for new businesses in recycling, technology and retail.
Stacy earned her BS in Accounting/ Business Administration from Troy University (Troy, AL) and Master of Business Administration with a marketing concentration from Auburn University (Montgomery, AL).
