The Center for Community Economic Development Assistance (The Center) has been established for organizations outside of California that seek technical assistance from the California Community Economic Development Association (CCEDA). CCEDA has served California as a statewide membership association for community development organizations actively engaged in revitalizing California's neighborhoods, including local governments and resident driven community development corporations, community action agencies, and faith based institutions. The Center was established to bring the full menu of technical assistance services of CCEDA nationwide.

The Community Connections (ComCon) Technical Assistance and Information Center is the information resource for the Office of Community Planning and Development (CPD) at the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD). It serves all those with a common interest in safe, decent, affordable housing, and those interested in creating community and economic development opportunities at the local level. ComCon updates and maintains a database of consultants with expertise in CPD program areas and information systems. ComCon also serves as a resource and information center for HUD’s American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA) programs. In addition to basic program information, specialists can assist CPD and Public and Indian Housing (PIH) grantees with questions on ARRA reporting.
